Blending Essential Oils

Essential oils for skincare must be blended.

Olive oil, sesame oil, safflower oil, sunflower oil will penetrate deeply into the skin and warm the skin for a more efficient absorption of oil. For a 1oz bottle add 15 drops of single essential oil to your oil of choice. Keep your oils out of sunlight for quality control.
A blend of essential oils should be treated with the same proportion as stated above, to apply on your skin. The blend will last as long as your carrier oil does not oxidize. If you see a sticky film around the bottle lid the base oil is going rancid. Essential oils can be used in your bath without needing to blend first. Although you can use the blend in your bath, it will be moisturizing.
I was asked recently if the essential oil could be applied directly on the skin. There are a few exceptions as lavender essential oil may be applied directly and should be used this way on a burn, insect bite, blisters, and skin abrasion’s. A drop of sandalwood and rose strategically placed can arouse the male gender.
Valentine’s day is on the horizon… :^)
Have fun with this, it is a lot safer than perfume or cologne.
